The search engine below retrieves functional elements that have been annotated within ENCODE regions of the human genome. These elements include NCBI mRNA Reference Sequences (RefSeqs), mRNA, EST, and STS sequences, single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), and UniGene clusters, as well as links to gene expression databases, Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man (OMIM), and genome sequence browsers. In addition to the search results, users will be able to assemble customized data sets from within the ENCODE region of interest by following the Consortium Data tab that will appear above the search results. Alternatively, users may click on the Consortium Data tab at the top of this page to directly perform queries on data generated by the ENCODE Consortium.
