Interpreting the figures

Each figure shows male, female and sex-averaged maps (from left to right). for the Markers in the framework map are positioned at odds > or = 1000:1 with the exception of asterisked markers, which were ordered at odds > or = 100:1. Markers shown to the right were significantly linked to the group but could not be positioned at odds > or = 100:1. A vertical line indicates their most likely position. A thickened portion of the line shows the interval favored for placement at odds > or = 10:1. Total genetic lengths (cM), estimated using the Kosambi mapping function, are given below each map, with standard errors in parentheses.
